I was watching a piece on CNBC the other day called "Garbage, Inc" and the thought occurred to me: why don't the people building ethanol plants in the midwest make deals to take in trash, which they would then burn in order to make the ethanol in an affordable way (maybe even one that would pay them at the same time).
